YOUNGOHM’s Thatthong sound is here.
The much awaited one sophomore effort from the Thai hip-hop star arrived today (January 25), two years after his successful debut album, THE BANGKOK HERITAGE.
Thatthong sound packs 19 tracks, which includes nine features from longtime collaborator SONOFO (who features prominently on the album cover alongside YOUNGOHM) and guest verses from Doper and Bozo.
YOUNGOHM wrote in his announcement, “It’s been two years since I started working on the #พพื่วลิม album and now I would like to announce that it is finished and ready for everyone to listen… Thanks everyone, waiting to listen to this album.”
The Bangkok rapper previously shared album tracks “I JUST WANNA BE FREE” and “Very very small” (published on 24Th birthday) as well as a non-album single “WHERE RU?” with ØMI by JSBlll.
A few days before the album release, YOUNGOHM took to Instagram to reflect on persistence and dreaming big.
“It is not wrong to be born poor. It’s good because you’re durable. Dream big and stand tall. And you just fight like Master Pridi Phanomyong,” he wrote in Thai, referring to the Thai political leader and former prime minister often referred to as the father of Thai democracy.
In other news, YOUNGOHM is among 10 Thai artists we included in our wish list of artists at the opening Rolling high Thailand in April, which Travis Scott will front in his first appearance in Asia.
