TEG has set its sights on expansion across the UK and Europe, led by seasoned concert professional Toby Leighton-Pope.
The former AEG Presents and Live Nation executive has been named CEO of TEG Europethe recently announced UK-based structure, which is active across live entertainment, ticketing, venues, digital and data.
In this new role, Leighton-Pope will be responsible for the operations, strategic management and “rapid expansion” of TEG Europe, bringing together Ticketek, TEG Live Europe (including the former TEG MJR touring business); TEG Venues (including interests in 10 venues); Propaganda indie club brand; and Ovation, TEG’s data science and analytics business.
Prior to joining TEG, Leighton-Pope served as co-CEO of AEG Presents UK from 2016 to December 2021 and in several positions during a 15-year tenure with Live Nation, most recently as senior VP music.
Leighton-Pope has promoted tours for some of the world’s biggest acts, including Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé, Jack Johnson and Arcade Fire. Last year he was named on Billboard’s 2021 International Power Players list, and in 2016 he was nominated as International Promoter of the Year at the Pollstar Awards.

Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, TEG operates worldwide out of seven country offices and includes TEG Live, TEG Sport, TEG Experiences, TEG Dainty, TEG Europe, SXSW Sydney, TEG Van Egmond, Laneway Festival, TEG Rockefeller, Handsome Tours, Qudos Bank Arena, Ticketek and Ovation.
US investment firm Silver Lake bought TEG in 2019 in a deal said to be worth up to 1 billion dollars.
