Styles P and Jadakiss wants to end 2022 with a bang, announcing a special pre-Christmas concert at New York’s Irving Plaza.

LOX rappers took to Instagram on Monday (November 7) to ask fans to come and “witness history” at their end-of-the-year concert, dubbed “Back To Back: Masters of the In & Out Flow.” The show is set to take place on December 16.

“NYC!!!! my brother @jadakiss and myself wanted to do something special to end the year,” Styles P captioned the show’s digital flyer. “December 16th at the legendary @irvingplaza, come witness history. We’ll be announcing the artist lineup, @realstraingang strain release & sponsors in the coming weeks. Get ready!!!”

The post added: “If you are interested in sponsoring the event contact @doubt_x_belief while there is time!!!!! Ticket link in my bio.”

News about the broadcast will come later Styles P recently announced plans to retire as a solo artist – but not before giving his fans two more albums.

The LOX veteran took to Instagram last month with a lengthy farewell dedicated to his devoted fans, saying he’s simply stepping away from the mic so he can be more “spiritually healthy.”

“I think I’ve let myself down a bit over the last few years,” he wrote. “Being a super hard working emcee and a health advocate. Firstly, I’m not really that good at multi-tasking, it’s actually my drive that keeps me going and that slack falls back on my family, business partners and colleagues .I thought harder about it and came to the conclusion that I need to step away from my solo career period (I think I gave you enough).

Styles went on to note that he still plans to work with his LOX brothers Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, but that aside from a feature here and there, his solo output will soon cease. He added that he is on several “important boards” to which he will dedicate more of his time, and also said that he will step away from his juice company Juices For Life.

The LOX is working with Diddy to get their release back, says Jadakiss

He added that he still plans to release “two more solo projects” but wouldn’t give any more details about them.

Meanwhile, Jadakiss and Styles stopped by Mariah Carey’s Global Citizen Festival performance last month deliver the trio’s “We Belong Together” remix.

The two New York MCs were welcomed on stage by Carey, who ushered them in by singing the opening hook of the “We Belong Together” revival acapella, which appears on the 2005 Ultra Platinum edition of Mimi’s liberation.

This was the first time the three artists had performed the remix together since December 31, 2005, when Mariah and both MCs performed it on a Dick Clark New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special.
