Lil Wayne, Future, Playboi Carti and Travis Scott to Headline Rolling Loud California 2023

Rolls high have announced the lineup for their 2023 California show, and it includes heavy-hitters among the likes of Lil Wayne, Future and more.

The popular festival returns to the Hollywood Park Grounds adjacent to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood from March 3 to 5, 2023. Tickets go on sale Friday (November 18).

Playboi Carti and Travis Scott will also headline, making it the latter’s first US headline show since 2021’s Astroworld Festival tragedy. Travis was briefly in the conversation to replace Kanye West at Rolling Loud Miami in July, but the show’s CEO/co-founder Tariq Cherif claimed that the venue would not allow it due to the deaths in Astroworld.

Cherif later retracted his statement and instead said it was just too short a turn to carry out Travis’ extensive stage design.

The Cactus Jack rapper did his thing return to festivals across the pond earlier this year, and even debuted some new music during the set at London’s O2 Arena. The crowd reaction was overwhelmingly positive, and Travis later celebrated backstage with NBA stars James Harden and Kevin Durant.

Other names on the 2023 SoCal bill include Kodak Black, Tyga, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Tory Lanez, Moneybagg Yo and more. One name that probably won’t appear in a Rolling Loud series again is 21 Savage.

The Atlanta-based rhymer was scheduled to perform on the final night of Rolling Loud New York in September, but pulled out at the last minute. Soon after, he did claimed in a since-deleted tweet that he would never return to the festival again.

“Rolling Loud will never get a show out of me again,” he wrote.

No confirmation was ever released as to exactly what happened, but the rumor is that 21 showed up late to perform and was not allowed on stage.
