PnB Rock’s partner Reveals She’s Getting No ‘Death Benefits’

PnB rock‘s partner has revealed that the slain rapper had not done any estate planning beforehand his untimely death at the age of 30.

Stephanie Sibounheuang took to IG Live on Saturday (January 14) to thank those who have supported her budding business, Angel Energy, as she navigates life without her partner, with whom she shares a two-year-old daughter, Xuri.

Sibounheuang said she was called by God to do the vulnerable post and admitted that although she has a few side businesses, PnB Rock was the primary breadwinner in their relationship.

“This is basically a video of gratitude,” she began. “And I just want to thank everyone who has supported me. It really means so much to me. And God wanted me to tell you that since Rock has been gone, I’ve had no help.”

She continued: “And let’s be real: you know, he took care of me and my whole family. I’ve always had my own little movement. You know, I have my little Airbnbs and things like that, but let’s be right, it’s not in abundance. It’s been really hard without help, without my protector and my provider here. But I just let God use me, I just trust God’s plan.”

During the sometimes emotional 15-minute video, which she later posted on her Instagram feed, Stephanie Sibounheuang opened up about the spiritual journey she has been on of late, revealing that she has been able to communicate with PnB Rock through prayer.

She added that through the support of her followers, she has been able to continue caring for her family as she and her partner had been doing before his death last September.

Around 7:40 a.m., the entrepreneur began reading some of the comments on the live chat, apparently responding to a viewer who asked about what plans Rock had made for his family, which also includes a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

“No, he didn’t have life insurance,” she revealed. “No, he did not have a will. Well, we didn’t have anything set up. We are so young, we don’t plan for death. “I don’t even get death benefits, I don’t get anything and I don’t want to ask anyone for anything. I have that personality and I work on it.”

“I’m trying to, you know, empty myself of my ego and my pride because I’m not going to ask anybody for anything I don’t care.” she added. “I could be on fire and I won’t even ask you to spit on me. I’m trying to stop being like that, but God, He made the way, He made the way. I’m so thankful, I’m so grateful to you all.”

After PnB Rock’s death, Sibounheuang wrote a heartfelt message on Instagram expressed his grief while revealing that the rapper bravely saved her life during the fatal robbery.

“I’m 100% not ok,” she wrote. “If I wasn’t spiritual I could kill myself (but then I go to hell and my husband isn’t there) My husband saved my life and threw me under that table. I’m not supposed to be here, but because of him. I am. No one would be able to handle this. TBH, I can’t even handle this.”

She went on to detail the moments immediately after September 12 shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles, who explains that she was briefly detained by the police after the incident. As a result, she was unable to accompany PnB Rock to the Los Angeles area hospital where he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the beauty influencer, PnB Rock’s death preceded a turning point in their relationship which had left her hopeful for their future as a couple.

“My husband had given himself to GOD,” she added. “Did a complete 360. He was loyal. He was patient. He was teachable and a teacher. I finally let the past go and let him show as his changed me.”

On December 8, a day before what would have been PnB Rock’s 31st birthday, Stephanie Sibounheuan paid tribute to her slain partner with a new tattoo: the rapper’s first name, Rakim, written in script on her neck.
