P! Nk has a very clear message for everyone who supports the Supreme Court decision to overthrow Roe v. Wade, the landmark case of 1973 that protected one’s choice to have an abortion: Do not listen to her music.
The message, which she tweeted Saturday night (June 25), was also aimed at racist supporters and those who threaten equality between marriage.
“Let’s be clear: if you think the government belongs in a woman’s womb, a gay business or marriage, or that racism is okay – THEN NEVER LISTEN TO YOUR MASTER’S NAME TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F – RIGHT FROM. Are we good? ” wrote the singer.
A Twitter follower caught P! Nk’s attention when he replied that he “has never had an abortion. Has also never been with a woman who aborted my child. My wife and I saved our grandson from deletion by providing our full support to our son and his boyfriend, the best thing we’ve ever done. “
“I’m so glad you CHOOSE TO DECIDE WHAT WAS RIGHT FOR YOU, Mr. It must be nice,” she said.
And when another follower tweeted, “I hope her agent survives the stroke,” P! Nk quick to respond.
“I’m my agent,” P shot! Nk back. “We feel good.”
See her tweets below. P! Nk is among a number of artists responds to the worrying news on social media over the weekend. Some musicians have taken their reactions to the stage: At Glastonbury on Saturday, Olivia Rodrigo dedicated The Lily Allen song “F— You” to the Supreme Court, “which has shown us that in the end they really do not care – about freedom.”
Let’s be clear: If you think the government belongs in a woman’s womb, a gay business or marriage, or that racism is okay – THEN NEVER LISTEN IN YOUR LORD’S NAME FOR THE FUCK TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO FUCK JUST OFF. Are we good?
