NBA YoungBoy admits he’s run out of rhymes

NBA YoungBoy has run out of things to rap about, at least according to the Baton Rouge rhymer himself.

YoungBoy has been giving his fans plenty of new music since he dropped one federal gun case in Los Angeles earlier this year. He fell off Colors in January, Better than you with DaBaby in March, The last Slimeto in August, Real 2 in September, 3800 degrees at the beginning of October and at the latest Mom I have a family, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with 37,000 album-equivalent units. However Top the rapper has said he’s officially burned out.

In a screenshot YouTube comment circulating online, one of NBA YoungBoy’s fans asked the 23-year-old to drop a new track, to which he responded saying it was not physically possible.

“Would you mind if I didn’t say it until next year?” YoungBoy asked. “Quando is losing the bond with me and him but I ran out of rhymes help me??”

Quando Rondo just dropped the first single from the aforementioned collab tape in September, titled “Give Me a Sign,” and if Rondo is able to drop the album before the end of the year, it will serve as NBA YoungBoy’s seventh project in 2022. Although is an impressive output, it falls short of YoungBoy’s original goal dropped 10 releases in 2022.

“Fun challenge ’10 tapes 1 year ??'” read a screenshot of an iPhone note YoungBoy wrote: “I’m supposed to be 6, do you think I can do it?”

The feat would have placed his output above mixtape legends like Lil Wayne, Curren$y and Gucci Mane, but while it may not come to fruition, the rapper has plenty of reasons to celebrate, including now having multiple Billboard 200 hits than JAY-Z.

While Hov still has far more No. 1 records, YoungBoy’s latest album brings his total on the chart to 25, surpassing Hov, who has 24.
