Although Cardi B’s appearance during Lizzo’s live show was an absolute surprise for fans, it’s no secret that the two musicians share an intimate bond, which they’ve shown on several occasions.

During an interview with The Breakfast Club last year, Lizzo revealed that she and Cardi B were separated by the director on set in the middle of filming the “Rumors” video because Invasion of privacy the lyricist suggested that she and Lizzo engage in foreplay while filming a key scene.

“Let me tell you something,” Lizzo started with a gasp. “This is the funniest person. Like we were sitting there and she said, ‘Okay, now whisper in Lizzo’s ear,’ and it’s the first time we’ve had to do that, because at first we were just kind of talking. And she said, ‘I want to eat your pussy,’ when I said I died laughing, this girl is so funny to me. Then the director split us up. She said, “Okay, you can’t stand together anymore, we will have to do this in the mail.”

Lizzo, apparently laughing at Bardi’s bold request, went on to explain why she wasn’t surprised by her offer, given how loudly Cardi B talks about the big girl “WAP” in her rap, according to Lizzo.

“To be honest with you, I can’t tell if she was joking or not,” she began with a giggle. “Because you know she’s always talking about a big girl pussy. She’s always talking about it. She said,Pussy stays wet/Like a big bitch, bear in mind that.’ Look, I’ve been keeping track of this, she talks about it all the time. She said, ‘You know how big girls have wetter vaginas?’ She talks about fat girl pussy all the time and she has that tongue so who knows. Maybe the rumors are true.”

Days before her latest sold-out tour date in LA, Lizzo also celebrated another big win with her live celebration in multiple nomination categories for the upcoming 65th Annual Grammy Awards show.

Of the six Grammy nominations she received, Lizzo’s project Particular was nominated in the coveted Album of the Year category and also received a nod for Best Pop Vocal Album. She currently boasts three Grammy Awards, including the Best Pop Solo Performance win she took home for her acclaimed “Truth Hurts” anthem at the 62nd Annual Grammys in 2020.

To top it all off, Lizzo prepares to tell her own come-up story via the release of her own HBO Max particular Love, Lizzo.

The 10th of November the official trailer for the documentary was released featuring exclusive footage from the Detroit native’s sold-out live show, The Special Tour with Latto, combined with commentary from Lizzo herself as she describes the hard work she’s put into breaking the glass ceiling in the music industry as a major instrumentalist and rapper.

“No one tried to sign a fat, black girl who rapped and sang and played the flute,” she said in the trailer. “It took so much hard work to get to where I am today, but I found my voice. Now when people see me on stage, they see themselves.”
