Lil Yachty Says Drake’s Megan Thee Stallion Bars Are About BBLs | HipHopDX

Lil Yachty has commented on Drake‘s behalf to clear up what fans perceived as a subliminal line aimed at Megan Thee stallion he Her loss.

During an IG Live session on Friday night (November 4), Yachty spoke to controversial line on “Circo Loco” where Drake appeared to reference Meg’s 2020 shooting, for which Tory Lanez is currently awaiting trial.

“I made this line-up because I know Drake won’t do it,” Lil Yachty said live. “Had nothing to do with Megan. It’s just about women lying about their butt being real when it’s not. And like “stallion” as in “she’s still fine.” Like a stallion! That was it.”

He continued to repeat the clarification after fans commented that his stream was not coming through clearly.

The “Circo Loco” lines made waves almost immediately after Her lossDrake’s long-awaited collaborative album with 21 Savagearrived on the night of Thursday (November 3).

“This bitch lie about getting shot but she still a stud/ She don’t even get the joke but she still smile.” Drizzy raps on the song, which samples Daft Punk’s “One More Time”.

Some fans believe Drake threw more shade at Megan later in the song when he raps: “Shorty says she graduated, she don’t learn enough/ Play your album, number one, ‘kay, I’ve heard enough.”

Megan graduate of Texas Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in health administration in December 2021. Her latest album, Traumazinewas released last August.

Shortly after her loss midnight release, Megan Thee Stallion fired off several tweets in response to Drake’s lyrics. The Houston native initially dismissed the idea that the “shots” line was directed at her, urging listeners to “stop attaching weak-ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name.”

Without naming names, Megan then slammed Drake and his rap buddies for using her shooting — which she has previously described as “terrifying” — as fuel for jokes and impact.

“Stop using my shooting for clod bitch ass N-ggas! Since when is it cool to make fun of women getting shot!” she snapped. “I n-ggas especially RAP N-GGAS ARE LAME! Ready to boycott shoes and clothes, but the dog gangs up on a black woman when she says one of you all abused her.”

Megan Thee Stallion wasn’t the only person Drake targeted on this latest project, which he announced last month on the 21st Savage’s birthday.

Ice Spice, DRAM, Kanye Westand even Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian all found themselves in Drake’s crosshairs, with the drama surrounding these perceptions dominating the online conversation about Her loss on Friday.

While Ohanian and Ice Spice each took the high road with their respective responses on Twitter, DRAM not as willing to let the little one go.

The slick pun on “BackOutsideBoyz,” in which Drake appears to reference a time when DRAM caught a blow from his safety in 2015, prompted the “Cha Cha” singer to post a video set the record straight.

“Yeah, someone needs to tell Drake to shut up about that shit, man,” DRAM said. “Damn five years ago. This n-gga never touched me n-gga. I tapped his ass. His damn bodyguards, damn I won’t hold you, his bodyguards went to town on the kid, but his bodyguards did , not his ass. He’s not touching me. He’s a bitch, you know that.”

While Drake hasn’t directly addressed any of the controversies surrounding his latest release, he did appear to troll commenters in his IG Stories with a photo of himself staring into the camera while holding his phone on a private jet.
