The show took place on Sunday (January 22), where Kodak unveiled a 10-piece ensemble inspired by retro clothing, music and the rapper’s own personal lyrics. While walking through the show, the Florida native performed his song “Super Gremlin” while wearing a purple faux fur coat painted with lyrics from his personal notebook.
Kodak also wore a purple suit with a rhinestone heart on the lapel with the words “love” and “war” sewn into the sleeves. The Sniper Gang boss co-created the menswear line and runway presentation with Nahmias, who is also the rapper’s longtime friend.
The line is part of Nahmias’ Fall/Winter 2023 collection, which was dubbed “California Poetry” and inspired by “Nineties California hip-pop culture.”
Cutthroat Bill was also joined by his one-year-old daughter Yuri Kapri while he was out and about in Paris enjoying the weekend. He took to Instagram to share pictures of even posed with his daughter while attending a show by Kenzo Takada.
“I’m sitting in Paris like WOW, I really made it from the projects,” Kodak wrote. “Trump set me free (1-20-21) I came home and got my blessing for baby Yuri she was after being born (1-21-22).”
He continued: “After complications throughout the labor process she ended up baking for a little jam while shortly after entering this world the next day!!! Anyways ( 1-22-23 ) My Baby Turnt 1 in Paris and it feels nice.”
Earlier this month, Kodak and NBA YoungBoy buried the hatchet with a FaceTime callwhere the two former rivals shared laughs and much more.
The Black and the Never Broke Again boss has a checkered past dating back to 2017. Recently, Yak accused YB’s manager of stealing his tour idea last summer, going so far as to reject his entire fan base.
Kodak Black also revealed plans to drop a project sometime next month during an Instagram Live with Yungeen Ace. When Ace asked what he was up to in the video, the “ZEZE” rapper said, “I’m just looking forward to dropping this album next month.”
The Florida rapper also named some artists he’s collaborating with on the project, with both he and Ace agreeing to find the latest R&B sensation similar to Mariah Carey.
Kodak’s last album, Back to everything, was released in February 2022 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, earning 60,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
