Kix drummer reportedly carried off stage after medical emergency

Biscuits drummer Jimmy Chalfant was reportedly carried off stage last night (November 19) after suffering a medical emergency on stage. The band performed at the Tally Ho Theater in Leesburg, Virginia, with several reports from the show commenting on the incident.

Metal sludge spoke to a source at the show, who said: “He was carried away and we are awaiting word from paramedics.” The source added: “It happened right after his drum solo and the band was about to start ‘Cold Blood’.”

One fan wrote on Facebook: “I just saw Kix live at Tally-Ho in Leesburg, VA. Drummer Jimmy Chalfant collapsed on stage just before the start of the last song. The lights came on, 911 was called and the show was over. Prayers for Jimmy.”

About Metal sludgeChalfant had previously experienced a heart attack in September 2021.

There was no word on Chalfant’s condition at press time.
