Kanye West shared a series of tweets on Thursday (November 3), revealing that he will be taking a “fast” from talking, alcohol, sex and porn.
“I’m not talking to anyone for a month,” he captioned a post that read: “I’m going on a 30 day cleanse, a verbal fast. No alcohol, no adult movies, no sex.” He concluded by noting that his “Twitter is still on,” implying that he will still be active on social media during his purge.
Ye continued his Twitter spree by praising basketball star Kyrie Irving, who has also been controversially in the news for the past few years.
West’s Instagram account was again limited on Monday (October 31) following his latest reported violation of the platform’s policies. “We removed content from @kanyewest for violating our policies and placed a limit on the account,” a Meta spokesperson told Complex. “We may place restrictions on accounts that repeatedly break our rules, for example we may temporarily restrict them from writing, commenting or sending DMs.”
The latest lockout of Ye’s account comes after both Instagram and Twitter were placed temporary restrictions on his social media accounts after he posted anti-Semitic comments earlier in October.
