Iggy Azalea promises she has some “scandalous shit” coming this week

Iggy Azalea It looks like she’s set to make headlines later this week, promising fans she’s got some “scandal” coming.

In a tweet on Tuesday (Jan 10), it said New classic the rapper shared the update in response to a fan asking for new music.

“Music?… summer. Scandalous shit?… Friday,” Azalea wrote.

The Australian native had already stirred up some controversy recently when she was linked to Tory Lanez before the rapper was jailed amid his legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion. Although neither of them confirmed the rumours, they also did not shy away from them and fueled the feed by posting each other on Instagram.

In October, Lanez referred to Azalea as “baby girl” when he thanked her in the caption of a post showing off a gift he’d received in celebration of his seventh studio album, Sorry 4 What.

Before that, the pair were spotted out for dinner in Miami over the summer and often commented on each other’s social media posts.

Iggy made a comment about the rumors after a post by blogger Tasha K insinuated that she neglected her son with Playboi Carti to spend time with Lanez. However, she did not confirm or deny anything regarding their romance.

“I don’t have family meals with anyone so I don’t understand why this is even a comment to begin with, like why/how is my son even a topic for her? Weird,” she tweeted. “Obviously I know Tory. We met in 2018 because we both write music in studios.

“Who I spend time with privately, whether professional, romantic or platonic, is not something I need to give the internet updates about. My private life is none of your business. Don’t ask.”

In October, Lanez revealed plans to carry out production the Australian rapper’s upcoming studio album.

“The first FEMALE URBAN ALBUM I will EXECUTIVE PRODUCE will be @IGGYAZALEA Next Album!!!” Tory Lanez wrote. “I’ve been wanting to EP a FEMALE ARTIST ALBUM for a long time… I want to raise the BAR… On BEATS, PRODUCTION AND OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF FEMALE ALBUM… it’s going to be fun.”

In response to people saying she shouldn’t be working with Tory, Iggy sent out her own tweet.

“You are all very welcome to speak your mind freely about me… just as long as we all have an understanding: You are having a monologue & not a discussion with me – because (respectfully) my bills stay paid without your two cents, ” she wrote.

It is unclear where the album stands now that Tory Lanez remains behind bars. His sentencing is set for February 28.
