The allegations were made on Twitter, where The King’s Disease hitmaker said the songs are already uploaded on his computer.
“me and Paak already have enough joints in my computer for an album,” Hit-Boy wrote in response to a fan who pleaded with the producer to work with the Silk Sonic polymath.
It’s not clear when the material was recorded or what projects it was originally supposed to land on, but the large sum is on fire for Hit-Boy right now, as he’s been on a tear releasing new music lately.

The producer’s tweet comes after Hit-Boy already confirmed that he would continue his hot streak into 2023 by dropping a collaborative double album with R&B legend Musiq Soulchild with the title Victims and villains. While Souldchild first spoke about the project in an interview with Bill Bellamy’s top billin’ podcast, Hit-Boy confirmed the news to HipHopDX Friday (January 6).
Hit-Boy also shared a screenshot of his tweet on Instagram while tagging Soulchild, who responded with a series of water wave emojis.
“The title is designed to address the subject of the challenges we all deal with in relationships, but I’m approaching it from a slightly different angle than I used to,” Soulchild said of the title to Bill Bellamy. “It’s more abstract, yet direct.”
He added: “A lot of people don’t realize which they are; they think they’re one when they’re the other.”
The Grammy-nominated crooner also revealed that the album has only been months in the making and is in the “beginning stages of mixing,” while describing Hit-Boy as a “GOAT of our time.”
