“P-poppin’ s–t, you’d think I went to chiropractic school / Looking good today, just sent my na-attachments / Why did you confront me with a – a? Man, you’re backwards / They come at me about n—s that I don’t even find attractive/ I don’t know n—a, I just haven’t seen him in town before,” GloRilla spits over the abrasive beat in the song’s clip. In the accompanying video, the Memphis rapper and her crew go wild on the streets of New York, ghost-ride down Manhattan streets in neon-colored cars, grab snacks at bodegas, and weave their way through the subway.

By the time Cardi pulls up midway in shades of green and a green-and-white varsity jacket, she has plenty of thoughts to read off haters. “I know I’m rich but I can’t help it, b—h, I’m hood as f—k/ I’ve been on this b——’s neck so long, sometimes my foot is stuck/ I can’t get in my business, you might wish me dead tomorrow/ B—-es be on d–ki today, sing every word of ‘Up’ tomorrow/ B—h, I still got cases open, keep your mouth shut up tomorrow/ Play with me today then get some sleep you know it’s up tomorrow,” Cardi raps.

The song is Cardi’s first release since she donated $100,000 to the middle school she grew up attending in the Bronx earlier this month. GloRilla also did her part by returning to her alma mater on Thursday (September 22) to drop one off $25,000 check at Martin Luther King College Prep High School in Frayser, North Memphis to support the school’s visual arts program.

GloRilla is riding high on the success of her breakout single-turned-summer anthem “FNF” Not only did the viral collaboration with Hitkidd land rising star a record deal with Yo Gotti’s CMG imprintit gave her too first None. 1 of her career on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay diagram.
