EST Gee says he’s going blind in one eye: ‘How can I stop this?

EST Hello seems to have some health issues and reveals on social media that he is going blind in one eye.

The Kentucky rapper took to Instagram on Friday (November 25) to share the devastating news with his fans that he is losing the sight in one of his eyes. Although he is not completely blind in one eye, he explained that it is getting worse.

“How can I stop this gray part from spreading, I used to be able to see a little bit but it’s getting worse, I’m starting to see less,” he said in an IG story.

EST Gee’s health update comes after being shot in the eye in 2019 (via Fork). After filming a video with Sada Baby, EST Gee was shot four times in the stomach and he also took a bullet in his left eye.

Interestingly, instead of informing his followers about the treatments he is receiving from doctors, the rapper asked social media what to do. Most advised EST Hello to seek an ophthalmologist about his worsening condition as quickly as possible.

Even as he seeks answers about his vision, the CMG rapper is still making a name for himself in the music scene. Back in September, he decreased his long-awaited album I have never felt like a nun. Prior to the LP’s release, he took aim at rappers whom he accused of trying to generate views on social media and press coverage to promote their projects.

“You used to have n-ggas promoting their album, trying to get on the blog and shit, just to get talked about so they can get posted, so n-ggas get attention for their music, but I just got music, ” he said. “My life is real.

“I never felt like a nun, do you feel me? It’s just that – whoever it’s meant for, it’s meant for. I’m not trying to convince anyone to fuck me or listen to my shit. I appreciate everyone who has followed us to this point. We’re going to the next level.”
