The 6 God already made headlines on Friday (November 4) when he insinuated on the song “Circo Loco” that Megan Thee Stallion lied about allegedly being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez, in order to to which Meg issued a scathing rebuke.
But an equally memorable quote also came on the song “Middle Of The Ocean,” where Drake claimed to have issues with Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit. Drizzy and Serena were rumored to be romantically involved sometime in 2015.
“Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie,” Sprinkle saliva. “He claims we don’t have a problem, but no, boo, it’s like you come for sushi/ We can show up on ’em at will just like Suzuki.”
It’s unclear what may have transpired between Drake and Ohanian, but his veiled pun referenced the lavish sushi restaurant Nobu, which fans have theorized may be the site of a conflict that took place between the two.
Ohanian has since responded to Drake’s claims, explaining that he is a proud “groupie” to his wife.
“The reason I keep winning is because I’m relentless in being the best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife and daughter,” he wrote in part.
Serena responded in the comments with several heart-eye emojis.

Drake and 21 Savage’s Her loss the project is filled with many other memorable bars. Elsewhere on the Daft Punk-sampled song “Circo Loco,” Drizzy hints that his reconciliation with on-and-off nemesis Kanye West was merely done as a favor to renowned music director J. Prince.
“Regarding ops, bitch, I did that shit for J. Prince/Bitch, I did it for the mob bands.” Drake rapped. Ye inevitably caught wind of the shade, but asked his fans on Twitter to calm down.
“Enough already. I gave this man his flowers several times[.] Let’s really see who the real ops are in this music game,” he tweeted. “Imagine all the rappers on the same page and everybody cleaning up each other’s contracts. It’s kingdom time[.] Love Drake #lovespeech.”
Kanye West and Drake’s feud exploded last year, with the Hip Hop icons trading insults, lyrical jabs and small leaks in the months leading up to the release of their albums. Donna and Certified Lover Boy.
The couple eventually reconciled and came together to Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum the following month, where they appeared on stage together for the first time since 2016.
As for Meg, she wasn’t so forgiving of Drizzy’s lyrical transgressions. “Stop using my shooting for bitch ass N-ggas! Since when is it cool to make fun of women getting shot!” she wrote on Twitter. “I n-ggas especially RAP N-GGAS IS LAME! Ready to boycott shoes and clothes but the dog piles on a black woman when she says one of you all homeboys abused her.
“And when the mf facts come out remember all you fave rappers behind a N-gga who SHOT A WOMAN. People attack me, you stand up for it, I’m defending myself now, I’m doing too much … every time it never ends and it did NOT happen until I came out and said I was shot … You guys don’t do it okay cool fuck it bye.”
