Drake has been seen putting in some serious work in the gym alongside renowned bodybuilder Mike Van Wyck.
A sweaty Drizzy was seen on Instagram aggressively hitting his chest on Tuesday (November 22) as Van Wyck coached him through reps.
“Got some work today with Wycked, proud of our bro,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story while sharing a photo of his iron-pumping workout.
Van Wyck also recalled the moment on IG, writing simply: “family.”
Drake has been hitting the gym hard for the past few years and regularly posts his progress online. Last year, the 6 God showed off a new pair of post-pandemic abs after taking his health more seriously together with other artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Busta rhymes, The game and Action Bronson.
In other news, Drake has been busy enjoying all that booty and controversy of his latest album Her lossM/a> with 21 Savagewhich debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 404,000 equivalent album units in its opening week.
The project reportedly produced one of the biggest streaming weeks ever, generating around 500 million. It’s Drizzy’s second No. 1 record of 2022, following his seventh studio album, Honestly, never mindwhich arrived in June.
But according to Drake, Her loss could have made even bigger numbers if Billboard did not do “fixed” the charts in 2018 after his success Scorpion LP.
Drizzy chimed in on a recent episode of Akademiks’ Off the Record podcast with 21 Savage where he accused Billboard rigging the charts in an attempt to curb his dominance.
“I mean, at the end of the day, ever since we moved up the charts from Scorpion, they fixed the charts anyway,” Drizzy said. “So it is what it is. You know, they had to give other people a fair chance.”
He seemed to turn his attention towards Her losssaying, “We do what we do. It’s more about the feeling, the momentum; it’s not about how long it lasts.”
