There is commitment and then there is ENGAGEMENT! While it’s not uncommon these days to see people getting tattoos of their favorite bands, a Creedence Clearwater Revival fan went so far as to have the band’s logo branded, yes branded, on his chest. We should warn you that the video below is not for the squeamish.
While there may be a certain amount of uncomfortable stinging that comes with getting a tattoo, it probably doesn’t compare to the steaming hot feeling that comes with branding. To demonstrate how the pain threshold is pushed, look no further than this guy who goes by the name Jimmy, who has removed his belt to bite down on while the iron is pressed against his chest.
As the mark hits the flesh, steam begins to rise from his body with the letters CCR permanently marking his torso to the inside and above his right chest. This brave soul must be one lucky son as he jumps to his feet right after the branding and shows little reaction other than a few grunts and an exhalation to the pain he just endured. That said, he should be thankful he only chose the initials rather than the full band name since it’s long.
“It smells like burning meat,” says an off-screen person.
The video that has found its way to Facebookcan be seen below via Reddit.
