On social media, JT shared that she and Uzi are still an item and she’s not here for any negativity.
“As long as me and Uzi have been official, it’s been fiction, never fact when it came to women,” she said. “You so want him to be a cheater. LMAO he’s not, actually I was mad about something super petty.”
Tuesday (November 22) The Miami rapper posted a now-deleted tweet that simply read: “SINGLE!” hinting that their relationship was over and sending fans into a whirlwind of rumors about what took place.
Back in August, JT Called Lil Uzi Vert A “Dream Come True” and “one of my greatest rewards” when she celebrated the “Neon Guts” rapper’s birthday.
“I love you Uzi,” she wrote at the time. “I’m crying making this post because you are literally a dream come true! I feel like with everything I’ve been through in life, you are one of my greatest rewards! I wake up every day to either your brow or your smile…either works for me as long as you’re right there.”
“You are my best friend, my twin flame. you work so hard, you deserve the world! I love everything about you… from your main character energy to still being able to make me feel like I’m the only person in the room! I saw you go through so much and in those times you still held me down.”
On the music side of things, Uzi said theirs Pink tape project was almost complete in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX.
“Well, it’s going through its blending process right now,” they said. “Because the last time I dropped an album, it did really well. It was actually my best-selling album, but it was experimental on the mixing part, not the music itself, so this time I went experimental with the music and traditional on the mixing.”
“They’re just trying to hear the real thing and I’m only letting them hear the fake, I’m stepping badly on this album and you hear nothing, maybe everything but nothing [flame emoji] Trust me,” Uzi tweeted at the time. “Believe me you will be back, they always come back.”
Last month, Uzi surprised their fans by dropping “Just wanna rock,” the first official release from Pink tape. Produced by Synthetic and MCVertt, the Philly MC brings all the emo, auto-tuned vibes his fans have come to expect.
