In June, fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean was spotted hanging out with Babyface, giving him one of the biggest co-signs he’s ever received. According to Sean Don, Ray is the “chosen one” to take the Motor City throne.

“I feel like that’s one of the reasons he’s, you know, he’s chosen,” Sean said while standing next to Ray and his entourage at an event. “It’s like he pulled the sword out of the cursed stone, you know what I mean? King Arthur, do you know what I mean?”

He added: “It only happens once every decade, once every two decades every thirty, forty years, so it’s like you have to understand how special it is.”
