03 Greedo has been given a prison release date and dropped his new album Free 03 to coincide with the news.
According to Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Los Angeles rapper is set to be released on parole on Thursday (January 12). Journalist Jeff Weiss, who has closely followed Greedo’s trial, confirmed the information on Sunday, January 8.
“Out of respect for Greedo’s right to break the news however he wants to share it, I can’t officially confirm anything,” he tweeted. “But this Texas parole info is accurate. 03 should be coming home sometime this week. A 5 year nightmare is finally coming to an end.”
