Unit 234: first image shows Isabelle Fuhrman in cat and mouse thriller

Back in April, it was announced that genre regular Isabelle Fuhrman – whose credits include Orphaned, Orphaned: First kill, and The last thing Mary sawamong others – wanted to star in a cat and mouse thriller called Unit 234… which was already recorded in the Cayman Islands when the announcement was made. We later learned that Fuhrman was joined by Don Johnson (Miami police), a great co-star to have. Now Radiant Films Intl. has revealed (via Variety) the first image of Fuhrman in the film, and you can see that image at the bottom of this article!

Directed by Andy Tennant (Sweet Home Alabama) from a screenplay by first-time feature writer Derek Steiner, Unit 234 sees Fuhrman taking on the role of Laurie Saltair, who discovers the comatose man, Clayton, in Unit 234 of her family’s storage facility while working the night shift alone. What ensues is a thrilling ride in a cat-and-mouse game for Laurie and Clayton to survive the night.

Variety has also revealed that Jack Huston (House of Gucci) is in the cast. It is not clear who is playing Clayton.

Here’s another synopsis that gives a little more detail about what’s going on in this movie: A lone worker at a remote warehouse (Fuhrman) discovers an unconscious man locked in Unit 234, chained to a gurney and missing a kidney. She must then fight to survive a ruthless gang bent on retrieving their precious cargo… at any cost.

Unit 234 was fully funded by Productivity Media. The film was produced by Blythe Frank, Hadeel Reda and Lee Dreyfus along with Productivity Media’s William G. Santor and Doug Murray. Johnson serves as executive producer along with Colleen Camp.

The film is currently in post-production and we will let you know when any information about the release is available.

I look forward to Unit 234. How does this movie sound to you? Share your thoughts on this one by leaving a comment below.
