The Midnight Club has the following synopsis:

In a hospice with a mysterious history, the eight members of the Midnight Club meet every night at midnight to tell spooky stories – and to look for signs of the supernatural from the beyond.

In addition to the title book, The Midnight Club‘s writers (Mike Flanagan, Leah Fong, Elan Gale, James Flanagan and Chinaka Hodge) also took inspiration from the Pike novels Witch, Gimme a Kiss, Road to Nowhere, The Wicked Heart, and more. Episodes of the show were directed by Flanagan, Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour (Black box), Axelle Carolyn (Shudder’s Creep show), Viet Nguyen (Crush the skull), Morgan Beggs (Once upon a time), and Michael Fimognari, who has been cinematographer on most of Flanagan’s projects.

I watch everything Flanagan does, so I didn’t need a trailer to convince me to watch The Midnight Club. The trailer is pretty good though and I like the use of the song “Possum Kingdom” by The Toadies.
