The Fall Guy: Winston Duke joins Ryan Gosling in David Leitch action film

THR has reported that Winston Duke is set to join Ryan Gosling The fall guyDavid Leitch’s feature film adaptation of the classic 1980s series of the same name.

The fall guy the series was created by Glen A. Larson and ran from 1981 to 1986 on ABC. Lee Majors starred as Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman masquerading as a bounty hunter. Using his physical skills and knowledge of stunt effects, he traveled the country capturing fugitives and criminals. The film will ditch the bounty hunt and focus on the stunts. Ryan Gosling will star as a “the battered and formerly his greatest stuntman, who finds himself back on a film with the star he worked with long ago, who replaced him. The problem, however, is that the star is now missing.Winston Duke will play the stuntman’s best friend in The fall guy. The project will also contribute Aaron Taylor-Johnson as a movie star, Stephanie Hsu as the movie star’s assistant, and Emily Blunt as a prosthetic make-up artist who has a romantic past with the stuntman.

Production on The fall guy began this week in Australia, with David Leitch directing, as well as producing alongside Kelly McCormick through their 87North production banner. The screenplay was written by Drew Pearce, who worked with Leitch on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Universe Pictures has planned The fall guy for one 1 March 2024 release.
