It was announced late last year that a revival of NBCs The night court was under development, and it appears that the court will meet early next year. NBC posted theirs mid-season schedule today, which will find the premiere of the first two episodes of The night court reboot lands on 17 January 2023.
The new incarnation of The night court got started thanks to The Big Bang theory‘s Melissa Rauch, who was a huge fan of the original series. Rauch not only stars in the series, but also serves as an executive producer. John Larroquette will return as Dan Fielding and will star alongside Rauch. The new The night court the series will revolve around “unapologetically optimistic Judge Abby Stone (Rauch), daughter of the late Harry Stone, who follows in her father’s footsteps as she presides over the night shift at a Manhattan court and tries to bring order to its crew of crooks and cynics, especially former night court prosecutor Dan Fielding (Larroquette).” In addition to Melissa Rauch and John Larroquette, The night court also stars in India de Beaufort, Kapil Talwalkar and Lacretta.
