Jordan Peele’s Nope Releases October 4K Bluray

If you are ready to experience the mysteries of Jordan Peele Nix once again Universal Pictures Home Entertainment announced that they will release the film on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on 25th of October. Nope will also receive a digital release on September 20.

Nix stars Daniel Kaluuya (Go out) and Keke Palmer (Hustlers) as residents of a lonely canyon in the interior of California who bear witness to an eerie and harrowing discovery. Steven Yeun (Minari) and Michael Wincott (Westworld) also stars in the film. The special features of the Bluray and 4K UItra HD releases of Nope include:

  • Shadows: The Making of Nope — Unpack the meaning of NOPE with Jordan Peele. Secrets are revealed with this 56-minute immersion that explores the film’s unanswered questions, takes you on an intimate journey into every aspect of the production, and offers a detailed look at Peele’s revolutionary filmmaking process.
  • Deleted Scenes –Watch five unreleased scenes from Nix.
  • Gag Reel –A highlight reel of bloopers and outtakes with the main cast.
  • Call him Jean Jacket– The object of the Haywood siblings’ fascination is an entity known only as the “Jean Jacket.” Filmmakers provide insight into the conception, design and execution of this mysterious organism.
  • Mystery Man of Muybridge– A deep dive into The horse in motion by Eadweard Muybridge, its relationship to Haywood’s, and how it relates to the larger themes of Nix.

The audience has unpacked the mysteries Nix since release, and there could even be more on the cutting room floor. While talking to Collidersaid Jordan Peele, “I can neither confirm nor deny anything like that. It’s like, ‘Oh, shit.’ There’s been a lot of backlash about people kind of finding things in the trailer that aren’t in the actual movie. I can say, I think people will see more in the future. That’s about all I can really say.
