Jason Momoa teases DC future: “I’ll always be Aquaman”

Jason Momoa teases his future with the DC Universe, saying he’ll always be Aquaman and no one will come in and take him on.

While James Gunn and Peter Safran haven’t revealed their complete plans for the DC Universe, it’s clear that we’ve seen the last of certain actors in DC roles. One actor that seems to be sticking around is Jason Momoa, who has played Aquaman in various DC movies… but will he continue playing the role?

While talking to VarietyJason Momoa referenced his last meeting with DC Studios. “It was very amazing,Momoa said. “I’m at home with Warner Bros. and they like a lot of the stuff I do. The actor was certainly pretty excited after meeting James Gunn and Peter Safran, saying that he “got some really good news” about his future with the studio.

In addition to Jason Momoa as Aquaman, the upcoming Aquaman the sequel also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Amber Heard as Mera.
