Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: James Gunn teases a bigger, more emotional film

Those who attended San Diego Comic-Con were able to see the first teaser to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Although directed by James Gunn will not publish it to the rest of us he teased THR to Guardians of the Galaxy the sequel is a bigger and more emotional film than the first two.

This is a much bigger film than the other two films and it is a much more emotional film than the other two films.James Gunn said. “And it is a longer film than the other two films – it is bigger in every way.” That Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 teaser shown at Comic-Con was not only a surprise for the audience but also the cast. Karen Gillan said the cast shed lots of tears watching the footage for the first time as it brought back the deeply emotional experience of making the film.

It sure was emotional doing it. Of course, there was so much fun in the film and to see funny sequences where the emotions are not so heavy, but ohhhthere are scenes where the emotions are heavier than they have ever been Guardians world. It was hard to get through any of it.

Gillan continued, “It definitely feels like the most epic. It’s complex, and the characters have to deal with it. It is very emotional for all of them. And then we’re also dealing with the fact that this is the end of an era of sorts, and so there’s a lot of emotion.” As James Gunn has said this will be last Guardians of the Galaxy movie with this team, I’m sure there won’t be many dry eyes in theaters when it finally comes out.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will star Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Bradley Cooper as Groot, Vin Diesel as Groot, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Sylvester Stallone as Stakar, Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, Maria Bakalova as Cosmo the Spacedog and Chukwudi Iwuji as High Evolutionary.
