‘Don’t worry honey’ Explained

The following post contains spoilers for Don’t worry honey and is meant to be read after you’ve seen the movie and you’re as confused by parts of it as we are.

Even the trailers for Don’t worry honey make it clear something takes place in the city of Victory. Everyone there is beautiful, happy, successful, but everything is just a little too clean, a little too organized, a little too artificial. Alice (Florence Pugh) lives the happy life of a 1950s housewife with her husband Jack (Harry Styles) until the day she witnesses a strange incident outside Victory. Then she begins to suspect that all is not as it seems, and that Jack’s boss Frank (Chris Pine) may have some sinister tricks up his perfectly handcuffed sleeves.

It takes Alice a while to uncover the secrets of the heart Olivia Wilde‘s Don’t worry honey, and even when she does, the movie still left me scratching my head — about how the world of Victory works, and how certain clues in the movie’s first two acts relate to what we learn about the place in the third. In an attempt to make sense of it all, I made a list of questions, some of which I definitely know the answers to, and others that I really don’t. I have done my best to try to explain everything. In a few cases I’ve definitely failed – and if you think you know, feel free to tell me.
