Craig Gillespie’s GameStop Movie Adds Seth Rogen, Paul Dano, Sebastian Stan and Pete Davidson

Pictures of black bear announced today that Seth Rogen (The Fabelman family), Paul Dano (Batman), Sebastian Stan (Pam and Tommy), and Pete Davidson (Bupkis) has joined the cast Stupid moneyThe GameStop Movie directed by Craig Gillespie.

Based on Ben Mezrich’s The Antisocial Network and screenplay by Rebecca Angelo & Lauren Schuker Blum, Stupid money will tellthe story of fortunes won and lost overnight in the David-vs.-Goliath GameStop short squeeze that may have ended up changing Wall Street forever.“The GameStop Movie Will Offer a”poignant account of how a loosely-knit group of private investors and internet trolls on a subreddit called WallStreetBets took down one of the biggest hedge funds on Wall Street and fired the first shot in a revolution that threatened to topple the establishment.” Production begins in October, with Black Bear International handling the foreign distribution rights and launching sales at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

Fabelmans debuts at TIFF on September 10th and will see a limited theatrical release on November 11th before expanding widely on November 23rd. Sebastian Stan is currently recording A different man for A24, and Pete Davidson is in the middle of production on Bupkishis new comedy series for the Peacock
