Christmas Bloody Christmas trailer: Robot Santa wreaks havoc in December

There’s not much left of 2022, but one of my most anticipated films coming in what’s left of this year is writer/director Joe Begos‘s holiday horror movie Christmas, bloody Christmas – which got an 8/10 review from our own JimmyO, which you can read HERE. Now another trailer Christmas, bloody Christmas has come online to give us a taste of what this film will have in store for us when it hits theaters and the Shudder streaming service on December 9Th. Check it out in the embed above!

Christmas, bloody Christmas has the following synopsis:

It’s Christmas Eve, and fiery record store owner Tori Tooms just wants to get drunk and party until the robot Santa at a nearby toy store breaks down and makes her night more than a little complicated. Santa begins a rampaging killing spree through the neon snowy landscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a bloody battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick himself.

The film stars Riley Dandy (It’s Cupid), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Rob Zombie’s Munster’s), Abraham Benrubi (IS), Sam Delich (Spiderhead), Jonah Ray Rodrigues (Mystery Science Theater 3000), Dora Madison (Friday night light), Jeremy Gardner (The battery), Graham Skipper (Mystery Spot), Kansas Bowling (The Third Saturday in October, Part V), Josh Ethier (Beyond the Gates), Elliott Gilbert (The Fandango Sisters), Adam Dietrich (Big of the night), Matt Mercer (Agreed), Aerial Washington (Fantastic high), and Begos himself.

Begos had this to say about his film: “Since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of making both a crazy holiday horror movie unlike any other and a no-holds-barred killer robot movie, but I never imagined I could make them into the same movie. The madmen at RLJE Films and Shudder have let that fantasy play out and greenlit this neon-soaked robot fever dream, championing the choice to shoot on film and build a real-deal robot in 2022. This is truly the place to make cool and original filmmaker-driven genre films , which, frankly, no one else has the balls to fund.

Begos has previously directed Almost human, mind’s eye, blissand VFW. I tend to really like his movies, which is why I’m so hyped for it Christmas, bloody Christmas.
