Brad Pitt suggests he might retire, saying he is on the “last leg” of his career

Some people want to work until the day they die, while others are eager to retire if they are able to. While talking to GQBrad Pitt seemed to suggest that his retirement from the screen is coming faster than we think.

Brad Pitt is in the August 2022 edition of GQ, and during an interview with Ottessa Moshfegh, the actor seemed contemplative of what lies ahead. He does not know what the future will bring, but he said he is in the final stages of his creative career.

I consider myself on my last leg, this last semester or trimester. What will this section be? And how will I design it?

That doesn’t mean Brad Pitt officially retires from acting anytime soon, he still has more projects on the board, but this “final stage” of his career may find the actor exploring new possibilities. Pitt has become a prolific producer through his production company over the past decade, so maybe we can see the actor work more behind the scenes.

Brad Pitt will next be seen in David Leitchs Ball train. The comedy-action thriller finds Pitt in the role of Ladybug, an unfortunate assassin who is determined to do his job peacefully after one too many concerts have gone off track. Pitt stars alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Michael Shannon, Zazie Beetz, Sandra Bullock and more. The film continues in the cinema August 5, 2022. Pitt also stars alongside Margot Robbie in Damien Chazelles Babylona period drama about the end of the silent film era.
