She-Hulk: Lawyer is underway with Disney+, and it’s definitely different than what we’ve seen so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a 30-year-old lawyer who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The series has received plenty of praise from audiences, including a few of She-Hulk’s counterparts in the MCU. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie told IMDb how good he thinks it is She-Hulk the series is.
She-Hulk was great when it was the last series to air on Disney+. You know, it was just different from their norm. You could see Marvel giving writers the opportunity to spread their wings and look at the Marvel Universe in a different way.
In addition to Tatiana Maslany, She-Hulk: Lawyer also stars Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Several Marvel favorites have also appeared, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong and Charlie Cox as Daredevil.
Anthony Mackie first appeared in the MCU as Sam Wilson in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and went on to reprise the role in a handful of Marvel films. He later took on a lead role alongside Sebastian Stan in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which found him taking on the mantle of Captain America. Mackie will next star in the upcoming Captain America: New World Order movie. The film will feature several characters from the TV series, such as Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres. The film will also star Shira Haas as Sabra and Tim Blake Nelson as Person in charge, which has not been seen since The Incredible Hulk in 2008. Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) will direct the film from a script written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson.
Sixth episode of She-Hulk: Lawyer debuts on Disney+ tomorrow with Anthony Mackie’s Captain America: New World Order coming to the cinema 3 May 2024.
