Andor Season 1: What were you thinking?

Disney+ Star wars series Andor just had its finale, and now the season can be seen as a whole. The show that served as a prequel to 2016 Star wars spin off, Rogue One: A Star Wars Storyreceived one 93% he Rotten tomatoes as well as one 83% audience score. Fans and critics alike praised the show for being unique to the franchise without having to rely on nostalgia and fan service to tell a standalone story.

According to metrics, the show was lagging behind others Star wars series such as The Mandolorian, according to Nielson’s streaming ratings. The ratings, while lacking, still garnered enough to earn the series the top 10 most-watched streaming programs for its entire run. The lackluster numbers are likely why Disney is giving the show an extra push by making episodes available on broadcast TV for non-subscribers to watch.

The executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan, while Tony Gilroy is also the creator and showrunner.
