Knock at the Cabin Video Details Its ‘Layers of Nightmares’

Universal images has fallen one Knock on the cabin featurette for M. Night Shyamalan’s next horror thriller. The film is expected to hit theaters on February 3, 2023.

That Knock on the cabin featurette features commentary by Shyamalan and the cast, including Dave Bautista, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage. In the video, they discuss the film’s complex story and characters, describing it as “layers of nightmares.”

“While vacationing in a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse,” reads the synopsis. “With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe in before all is lost.”

Based on the 2018 novel by Paul Tremblay, Knock on the cabin is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. In the film, Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, Mindhunter), Ben Aldridge (Pennyworth, Flea bag), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old), newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn (Little Women), and Rupert Grint (Serving).

Knock on the cabin is produced by Shyamalan and Ashwin Rajan through their Blinding Edge Pictures banner along with Marc Bienstock. Executive producers are Steven Schneider, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos and Ashley Fox.
