Apple TV+ has revealed the official The price of the big door trailer for the upcoming series adaptation of MO Walsh’s novel of the same name. The video gives us our first look at the leading cast including Chris O’Dowd as their characters’ lives change with the arrival of a mysterious machine. The comedy is expected to debut this spring.
The price of the big door will be written and executive produced by showrunner David West Read, best known for his work on the award-winning comedy Schitt’s Creek. O’Dowd will lead the cast as a good-natured teacher and family man named Dusty, who is forced to question his own happiness after his average life suddenly changes with the appearance of the mystifying machine.

Joining O’Dowd are Gabrielle Dennis, Ally Maki, Josh Segarra, Damon Gupton, Crystal Fox, Sammy Fourlas and Djouliet Amara.
“The story tells the story of a small town that is forever changed when a mysterious machine appears in the grocery store that promises to reveal the true life potential of each resident,” reads the synopsis.
The price of the big door is executive produced by David Ellison and Dana Goldberg, who serve as executive producers for Skydance Television; Miky Lee, Young Kyu Kim and Hyun Park produce for CJ ENM/Studio Dragon; with Bill Bost and Sarah Walker.
