Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Gets Expanded Theatrical Release

Fathom Events has announced this Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeythe upcoming slasher film based on AA Milne and EH Shepard’s iconic character, will be playing in theaters for nine whole days.

The theatrical run now extends from February 15 to February 23, with the film available in over 1,500 cinemas across the country. Interested fans can now get their tickets Fathom Events website.

Written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the slasher film stars Craig David Dowsett as Pooh Bear, Chris Cordell as Pattegris and Nikolai Leo as Christopher Robin. Additional cast includes Natasha Tosini, Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, Jase Rivers, Simon Ellis, May Kelly, Natasha Rose Mills, Richard D. Myers and more.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey became infamous in 2022 for its unusual use of the iconic AA Milne and EH Shepard characters after their copyright expired in 2021. The film centers on Christopher Robin going to college, causing Winnie the Pooh and Piglet to become “wild and unhinged “, leading the characters to go on a murderous rampage. Winnie the Pooh recently saw its copyright expire, with the rights to the characters no longer held by Disney and entering the public domain.
