Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is only about two months away from its March 17th release, and it has finally been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. The ESRB gives insight into why it’s given a Teen rating, and even reveals a few mild profanities uttered by some of the characters.
As pointed out by Wario64that Survivor ESRB rating notes that players can “slash and dismember aliens, droids, and humanoid enemies” and that some victims cry out in pain. Others are also impaled through the chest. The ESRB doesn’t provide context, but says players may hear the words “ass” and “bastard” in the game.
For reference, Jedi: Fallen Order was also rated T for Teen and the listing also notes that players can hear screams of pain during combat. It says that players may hear the word “bastard”, but “ass” is not listed in this predecessor. The Fallen Order is also currently included in January’s PlayStation Plus Essential lineup.
