The extensive battles between the gods and men are back. Netflix has announced the release date for the second part of the seinen series Record of Ragnarok. Here is all the necessary information for Record of Ragnarok Season 2, Part 1.

When Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 1 Releases

Record of Ragnarok Season 2, Part 1 will start streaming on Netflix this coming January 26, 2023. The first part consists of episodes 1 to 10. The second season will have a total of 15 episodes.

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 1 will be available to stream on Netflix. The second part, which contains episodes 11 to 15, will start streaming at a later date on the same platform.

About the series

Record of Ragnarok is based on the manga series of the same title written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui. Ajichika illustrates the manga. Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon began serialization Record of Ragnarok in November 2017. Meanwhile, Viz Media is the designated publisher for the 2021 North American release.

The first season of the anime adaptation premiered on Netflix in June 2021. Graphinica and Yumeta Company are producing the second season. Masao Okubo directs the series. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and Yuka Yamada handle the composition of the series. Masaki Sato is responsible for the character designs. The opening theme for Record of Ragnarok II is “Rude, Loose Dance” by Minami. Meanwhile, the ending theme is called “Inori” by Masatoshi Ono.

“Mankind’s greatest heroes battle the gods for humanity’s survival,” the series synopsis states. “Once every millennium, the gods gather to decide whether humanity is worthy of its continued existence or whether it must be destroyed! When the verdict is destruction, the final battle between the gods and mortal heroes will decide humanity’s survival or extinction—a battle known as Ragnarok!
