Exclusive Slave Zero X trailer reveals Jordan Reynolds’ role

ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive trailer for Slave Zero Xthe upcoming biopunk action game sequel to the 1999 title Slave Zero. The new trailer reveals that voice actor Jordan Reynolds will play a character in the game. The game will be released on PC and consoles in 2023.

Reynolds will play Atavaka, the masked and armored swordsman assassin with a skin of polished alloys, who is one of the Five Calamities. Reynolds has previously voiced Tiziano JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and PeekaBoo, Ichiro and Newt in Lupine III.

“From the top of Megacity S1-9, Sovereign Khan rules with fists of iron and flesh. Beneath the city’s rotting foundations, a vengeful warrior embarks on a journey to assassinate him. 4 years prior to the events of Slave Zero, Slave Zero brings X new life to a world where horrible, living machines known as Slaves are poised to become the latest tools of war in humanity’s long and bloody history,” says the game’s official description. “A secret group of warriors known as The Guardians hope to prevent these biomecha from being unleashed on the world, but a swordsman among their ranks has another idea: use the enemy’s own weapon against them. By fusing with a stolen Slave Unit Prototype , Shou will become a raging devil in the pursuit of killing a false God.”

Slave Zero X is developed by Poppy Works and published by Ziggurat Interactive. It offers writing talents from RWBY co-creator Miles Luna. The game will be released on PC and consoles in 2023.
