Violent Night Featurette shows how Santa becomes an action star

Universal images has released a behind-the-scenes featurette for Violent night, the upcoming Christmas action comedy starring David Harbor as Santa Claus. The film hits theaters on December 2.

That Violent night featurette includes commentary from the cast as they discuss Harbour’s unique version of Santa Claus. It also features new footage of Harbor in action as he tries to rescue a little girl from a group of mercenaries.

Violent night is directed by Tommy Wirkola from a script written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. John Leguizamo joins the Port (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), Alexis Louder (The war of tomorrow), Eddie Patterson (The righteous gems), and Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise).

“When a team of mercenaries break into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve and take everyone hostage, the team is unprepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus is on the scene, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint,” reads the synopsis .

Violent night is produced by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch and Guy Danella, with Marc S. Fischer serving as executive producer. It comes from 87North.
