Willow Featurette highlights the transition from the big screen to Disney+

Lucasfilm has revealed a brand new behind-the-scenes look at its upcoming sequel series Arrow, which highlights the return of Warwick Davis as Willow Ufgood. The fantasy adventure will be available to stream on Wednesday, November 30.

That Arrow featurette includes commentary from the cast and creators as they discuss the timeless story’s journey from the big screen to Disney+. The video also highlights its grand sets and next-generation cast, while talking about the importance of continuing to tell Willow’s heroic story.

Arrow comes from Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle, who serve as showrunners. Joining Warwick Davis are Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Amar Chadha-Patel, Dempsey Bryk and Joanne Whalley.

“The story began when an aspiring wizard, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and defeat the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world Andowyne,” reads the synopsis. “Now the story continues with Davis reprising his title role as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a mission to protect Andowyn from an even greater enemy than they imagined possible.”

Ron Howard, the director of the original Arrow, is an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Jonathan Kasdan, Tommy Harper, Wendy Mericle, Roopesh Parekh and Samie Kim. The producers are Stephen Woolfenden, Julia Cooperman, Hameed Shaukat and Max Taylor. Its line-up of authors includes John Bickerstaff, Hannah Friedman and Jonathan Kasdan.
