Bandai Namco files a trademark for Ultimate Ninja Storm: Connections

Gematsu has revealed that Bandai Namco, the publisher of various anime games from franchises like Naruto and Dragon Ball Zhave filed a trademark to Ultimate Ninja Storm: Connections.

That Ultimate Ninja Storm subtitle has accompanied a number of different 3D arena fighters based on Naruto franchise, starting with the 2008s Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. While no new game has been announced to go along with this trademark, it could signal that an announcement is coming in the near future.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, which was released in 2017, is the latest title in the series. Its DLC, The Road to Borutoincluded content from the sequel series Boruto: Naruto Next Generationswhich is still ongoing as of 2022.

The most recent Naruto games to be released on consoles were from 2018 Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikerwhich is still receiving consistent DLC and support from developer Soleil and publisher Bandai Namco.
