HBO’s House of the Dragon will undergo a major time jump in the next episode of the hit series, and ahead of that actress Milly Alcock shared some behind-the-scenes photos celebrating her time on the show.
Alcock – who plays a younger version of Rhaenyra Targaryen on the series – shared a number of photographs from her time on the series on her Instagram, including pictures with Emily Carey, Matt Smith, shots of her on set acting as the dragon and more.

The images come ahead of Sunday’s sixth episode of House of the Dragonwhich will see the series jump forward 10 years in history and introduce new actors in the process, with Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke taking over Rhaenyra Targaryen and Lady Alicent Hightower respectively.
Based on George RR Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon tells the story of the rise and fall of the Targaryens, the only family of dragon lords to survive the fall of Valyria. It takes place 300 years before the events of the award-winning serial adaptation of Play off Throneswhich aired its last episode in 2019.
The 10-episode series is led by Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke and Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. It also stars Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Matthew Needham, Bill Patterson, Gavin Spokes, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Savannah Steyn , and Theo Nate.
House of the Dragon comes from George RR Martin, Ryan Condal and Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik, with Condal and Sapochnik also serving as showrunners. Executive producers are Martin, Sapochnik, Condal, Vince Gerardis and Sara Lee Hess.
