House of the Dragon Episode 6 Promo Teases Significant Time Jump

HBO has released a promo trailer for the upcoming sixth episode of House of the Dragon, entitled “The Princess and the Queen”. Directed by Miguel Sapochnik, the newest episode of Game of Thrones the prequel is scheduled to air on September 25.

That House of the Dragon the episode six promo teases another significant time jump, with the arrival of Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke’s versions of Rhaenyra and Alicent. It also highlights the conflicts that will arise involving their children. Given the end of episode 5, the video gives us a preview of Viserys’ sickly appearance as the weight of the crown continues to take its toll on him.



Based on George RR Martin’s Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon tells the story of the rise and fall of the Targaryens, the only family of dragon lords to survive the fall of Valyria. It takes place 300 years before the events of the award-winning serial adaptation of Play off Throneswhich aired its last episode in 2019.

The 10-episode series is led by Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke and Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. It also stars Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Milly Alcock, Emily Carey, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Matthew Needham, Bill Patterson, Gavin Spokes, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Savannah Steyn , and Theo Nate.

House of the Dragon comes from George RR Martin, Ryan Condal and Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik, with Condal and Sapochnik also serving as showrunners. Executive producers are Martin, Sapochnik, Condal, Vince Gerardis and Sara Lee Hess.
