Nintendo apparently didn’t reveal what would be in this 40-minute show, but recent reports point to it having more than a few remasters. Insider Jeff Grubb and his podcast co-host Mike Minotti said Switch remasters off The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was incoming in addition to a remaster of the first Metroid Prime. To Metroid remasters have been floating around for some time and has reportedly been finished for a while, and if it’s meant to be released in conjunction with its 20th anniversary in November, it should be announced soon.

While he was quite adamant about it Zelda remasters, Grubb also speculated that this show might have information about The Wild Spirit‘s untitled sequel. Since it looks like it’s a longer Direct and will “mostly” feature games launching this year, there’s room for Nintendo to reveal more about this highly anticipated and mysterious follow-up which was delayed to 2023.
