Everything Announced at Marvel’s D23 Panel – ComingSoon.net

It was a pretty busy day for Marvel at this year’s D23 Expo, with the studio making plenty of announcements involving the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Exclusive new footage from the upcoming sequel was shown at the event, director Ryan Coogler confirmed that he is still in the editing process for the film. Apparently, the film will focus on how the rest of the world is trying to get Wakanda’s resources while the nation is weakened.

Iron heart

The Disney+ series, which is being produced by Ryan Coogler, will delve into the battle between technology and magic. Anthony Ramos was confirmed to play The Hood, which was rumored after photos of Ramos were posted on Twitter. The series also got a new logo, which you can see below.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

The coming Ant man the sequel was confirmed to be directly linked to Avengers: Kang Dynasty. It will also feature the return of Randall Park’s agent Jimmy Woo, last seen in WandaVision.

Werewolf By Night

The first trailer for Werewolf By Night was revealed, showing off the black and white grindhouse style of the Halloween special. Gael García Bernal and Laura Donnelly were confirmed to star in the special, and an October 7 premiere date was announced. Man-Thing can be seen briefly in the trailer.

Secret invasion

The first trailer for the long-awaited Secret invasion The Disney+ series was screened for attendees and uploaded online. Several returning MCU characters can be seen throughout the trailer, in addition to a brief look at Emilia Clarke’s character.

Tank wars

A new logo for Tank wars was revealed, while Don Cheadle confirmed that the series will begin filming in 2023. The Disney+ series will be six episodes long and will take place after Secret invasion series.

Fantastic four

Very little was revealed involving what’s to come Fantastic four film, without confirming that Matt Shakman is officially set to direct the film.

Echo

The upcoming Disney+ series will include Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, although his eye will be covered by a bandage – presumably as a result of his confrontation with Maya Lopez last year Hawkeye. The shooting for the series has also been completed.

Loki (season two)

Ke Huy Quan, last seen in Everything, everywhere, all at oncewas confirmed to appear in the second season of Loki — specifically in the role of TVA employee.

Daredevil: Born Again

The new daredevil the series was confirmed to consist of 18 episodes, with filming to start in 2023. A new logo for the series was also revealed.

Captain America: New World Order

Captain America: New World Order‘s villain was revealed. The Leader, again played by Tim Blake Nelson after his first appearance in the 2008s The Incredible Hulk, will be the film’s primary antagonist. Carl Lumbly was confirmed to reprise his role as Isaiah Bradley from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, along with Danny Ramirez returning as Joaquin Torres from the same series. Shira Haas will play Sabra, an Israeli superhero.

Thunderbolts

The full cast of Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts movie was shown. The group will include Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah Jon-Kamen), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (Olga Kerleynko), Yelena Belova/Black Widow ( Florence Pugh) and the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

The Marvels

Iman Vellani, Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris showed footage from The Marvelswhich will also feature the return of Goose the cat.
