Marvel’s Werewolf By Night Gets Trailer, Release Date

After months of rumors and anticipation, Marvel Studios finally announced it Werewolf By Night would come to Disney+ on October 7, 2022, and then continued to give fans a first look at the show.

During their ongoing D23 Expo, Marvel Studios confirmed that the Disney+ Halloween special would premiere early next month, and also revealed that it will star Gael García Bernal and Laura Donnelly, confirming previous reports that both would appear in the upcoming series. In the short trailer for the special, Marvel Studios has tried to return to the old grindhouse horror movie style.

Werewolf at night is a name that was used by two different Marvel characters. The first, created by Gerry Conway, Mike Ploog, Roy Thomas and Jeanie Thomas, was Jack Russell, who is a descendant of Lycanthropes – shape-shifting demi-human creatures capable of transforming at will, even without a full moon .

Meanwhile, the other was Jake Gomez, an Indian whose tribe had been cursed with lycanthropy. The character Gomez was created by Taboo, Benjamin Jackendoff and Scot Eaton. Jack Russell has been confirmed as the main character of the Disney+ special.
