Thomas & Friends adds first autistic character, gets new trailer

The world of Thomas and friends is expanding as the upcoming 26th season of the series will introduce a new series regular and the first autistic character in the series’ history.

When the 26th season of Thomas and friends premieres on September 12, 2022, fans will be introduced to Bruno, a new character in the series. This jovial pun brake car is also autistic, making him the first ever autistic character in the series.

The character – who is also voiced by an autistic voice actor – will play an important role in the series, as he can move backwards and knows where all the tracks lead in the world of Sodor.
